Check-in: Normally, it is 3:00 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM. We will do our best to accommodate requests for early arrival and late departure. Rent payment: We accept all major credit cards and Paypal. Upon receiving your reservation, an invoice will be returned to you for the total rental amount plus a $250 refundable security deposit. After receiving this payment, we’ll send you a confirmation and change the status of those dates on our website’s calendar. Lodging Tax: 14% Cancellations: For a full refund, notice must be in writing and received more than 30 days prior to check-in date; late cancellations might still result in a refund for you if we are able to rebook the days you initially reserved. Needless to say, the sooner you can let us know, the better. Refundable security deposit: $250 – This is refunded on the day of your departure minus any costs to repair damage or replace lost items as a result of your visit. This security deposit is usually waived for returning visitors. Cleaning: Provided once a week at no extra charge; daily maid service also available upon request. Keys: For everyone’s security, there are no keys! Just your favorite number coded into the lock when you arrive. No pets and no smoking indoors, please. Maximum Number of People: Our 2-bedroom Venice Beach Cottage sleeps 6 at most comfortably. Any additional occupants will be considered over occupancy and in violation of our policies, unless prior arrangements have been requested and approved. Liability Release: The Tenant releases Owner from liability and agrees to indemnify and hold the Owner of Venice Beach Cottage harmless. This release is for any and all liability for any personal injuries (including death) and/or any property losses or damage occasioned by, or in connection with any activity or accommodation related to the lease of the rental property. Any legal disputes arising under this Agreement shall be mediated through arbitration and subject to the rules of the American Arbitration Association at the branch office closest to Venice, California. Changes: We reserve the right to change our rates and policies as future circumstances require. Any changes will be announced in advance on this website.
